This Winchester manufactured early variation outside magazine tube is for the Second model 1890 slide action rimfire rifle in 22 WRF caliber and features the friction spring cut but lacks the  reinforced (bulbous) end of the later variation outside magazine tube. The overall condition is very good exhibiting a grayish brown patina with honest wear and traces of thinning original blue finish in protected areas. (file photos)
